1.
Do you remember us? The ones you left out in the cold Do you remember what happened to us? Our souls subjected to that unspeakable horror In the cold void of night We were followed You could have saved us We were isolated Where were you? We were isolated Why didn't you help us? They removed our faces so that we would not be heard You cannot see us but we are gathered around you Asking you to answer us How could you allow this to happen to us? Why have we been forgotten?
2.
Safety is extinct as its transient nature renders it meaningless Fear that their smiles will melt away at any moment Revealing monstrous visages of hostile contempt Cold resentment constructed around fiery core of unstable rage Everything is taken away from you at any moment You cannot stop this, nor can you predict its occurrence From semblance of calm to utter havoc and mind-ruining agony Tortured by uncertainty of when they will turn on you next Pain of years of perpetuated emotional abuse Buried under inheritance of hatred, a shadow over generations A cruelty so single-minded in its intent to torment the defenceless Needles into a child's eyes, screaming for security
3.
We despise your hollow empathy You cannot grasp the immensity of the trauma that has been inflicted upon us The eternal weight of shame upon our shoulders The maddening anxiety that clouds our scar-fractured eyes Now receded into our skulls, into the dead, soulless slates where our faces once were We no longer exist as individuals, for we have been erased By their selfishness, by their disregard, by the primeval urgency of their radiance It punctured our souls and flooded them, smothering our own into insignificance We are empty corpses filled with the volition of our tormentors Drowned out by the voices of others, isolated from the world outside We cannot be reached nor can we reach out to others None shall hear our voices, none shall share our pain But you will know our story, we did not die in vain
4.
But they are ruined, contorted abominations born of their own suffering They know no security and can only inflict further misery upon you Shallow illusions are all that separate you from the unbearable reality They loathe your very existence and long to strangle you in your sleep To silence a voice in opposition to theirs, to reign unchallenged in a lifelong nightmare Hollow promise of hope, shattered so many times that you realize it does not exist Nobody loves you because nobody can love you You are a worthless disgrace and revolting to all other beings in your need of self-sufficiency They would have you entombed in their filth and forgotten for all eternity Stay your own course and you will be the pathetic, hapless victim you have always been for the rest of your wretched life
5.
Endlessly constructing rationalizations to justify your vile actions to yourself Endlessly plummeting into the jaws of time Slowly sinking into the oceanic cradle of your imagination Falling further and further from what you once called reality Now only a distant memory, in this realm of torturous paranoia and colossal delusions Delusions that you are loved by those around you Delusions that you are safe Nobody is safe and death can strike now at any moment Bringing the curtains of your mind crashing down around you And revealing the horrifying, unbearable reality of how ruined your life really is How alone you really are How despised you are by all those around you How your dreams are nothing but vain illusions far beyond your reach
6.
Yet still they compel you onward, further into the collective unconscious Colliding with countless souls along the way Souls that recoil at your touch and howl at your deaf ears Oblivious to the carnage in your wake You fall through the superseding levels of existence Leaving failure and chaos in each And leaving each with ever more scars You raise your hands in supplication You beg for respite and release You beg for an end to all this madness But it's already too late There's already someone on the other side
